From Lagos Marina, a catamaran carries you to Ponta da Piedade, where you paddle a double kayak through cliffs, beaches, and caves with guides such as Ricardo, Jamie, Andre, or Bruno. The boat shadows the group, then offers time to swim before the cruise back.

“We had a great morning! Andre, our guide was informative and fun! He also had a great sense of humor. He made our kayak experience memorable! The crew made getting in and out of the water easy and made sure everyone knew how to kayak correctly etc. I appreciate his concern for safety and overall it was a great day.!”

4.Dolphins & Benagil Caves – Catamaran

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 167 reviews · 3 hours 30 minutes (approx.) · from $59

Set out from Lagos on a spacious catamaran with shaded seating, live commentary, and a crew focused on respectful dolphin watching. Cruise past Ponta da Piedade and famous Algarve beaches, then stop for swimming, a snack, and the onboard inflatable slide. Dolphins are wild, so sightings are not guaranteed.

“We loved going to see the dolphins. The boat is perfect, lots of space, the crew was amazing, explained a lot about the dolphins and we had the chance to have a drink. It was a special morning. We had about an hour by the coast to swim and to enjoy some toys, like a slide to go to the water. Very refreshing. We had the best of the two worlds (nature and joy). A lot of fun.”
