“Sadly, a prop got tangled in a rope and went out, our boat hit the cave walls multiple times and my mom was pretty freaked out. We did not see the main cave. Our trip was cut short. The good things, the crew was so kind, they did act quick, and did refund us promptly. This boat is beautiful and the accommodations are very nice. I would do it again. It was a total accident and it could happen to anyone. I absolutely am confident this trip will be worth it for all ages.”
From Clube Naval de Portimão, you’ll cruise toward Benagil Cave in either a catamaran or RIB, depending on the departure. Expect about two hours on the water, several caves and beaches, a short swim stop, views of Praia Grande and Santa Catarina Fortress, and an English-language experience that can feel busy at the dock.
